“I came in not really doing as much media,” DeSantis told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday. After keeping the mainstream press at arm’s length early in his presidential campaign, DeSantis now will seemingly talk into any camera that is rolling. But ignoring it was worse.”A spokesman for the DeSantis campaign did not respond to questions from CNN about this story. Ron DeSantis Prev NextInstead, after launching, DeSantis engaged in a lengthy tour of the conservative media ecosystem – radio, TV and influential podcasters. “But conservative media is reactionary to what the mainstream media covers.

New England biasNew Hampshire’s critics often point out the many ways it does not look like the rest of America. I have covered the New Hampshire primary, and I too found it charming. The clearest pattern is that New Hampshire prefers Democrats from nearby, regardless of their ideology or national appeal. The closest thing to a substantive counterargument from New Hampshire officials is that their state is a swing state, unlike South Carolina, which is solidly Republican. In a very close national election, New Hampshire might even determine the Electoral College result.

With Clyburn’s blessing, he became chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party. “People thought early on, Oh, God, Jaime’s the chair of the D.N.C., so therefore he’s going to put his finger on the scale for South Carolina. “National Geographic said that 90 percent of African Americans can trace one of their ancestors to South Carolina. In our primary, 50 to 60 percent of the people who vote in the Democratic primary will be Black folks. A first-in-the-nation South Carolina primary lends Black moderates, a pivotal Democratic constituency, the kind of clout that many believe they deserve.

Williamson on Sunday told ABC that the DNC is "rigging" the primary system for President Joe Biden. Jonathan Karl asked Williamson on ABC "This Week" if she expected that Biden would debate her if the DNC held debates. Karl asked Williamson if she would still be competing in the New Hampshire primary election, which she said she would. Karl asked Williamson to clarify that she meant "rigging the system" in favor of Biden, to which she responded; "They even admit that, Jonathan." They know that the president did not do well in New Hampshire," Williamson said.
